Well, after a manic time at work ending with the flu to keep me in my bed for a week, I have finally managed a bit of crafting. Though it hasn't stopped me exercising my credit card on more crafty essentials!
It is my hubbys birthday on the 28th so had to make him a card. I thought I would use the sketch from the CBN challenge as flu is really hard on the crafting mojo and it gave me somewhere to start.
So I would like to enter this card for the CBN challenge this week
The images are from a Hunkydory set and the other embellishments were made. I used quite a few peel off borders and corners that had been languishing in my stash for a while. I find male cards so difficult so any constructive criticism gratefully recieved.
We are going to York to see Joshy at uni and spending Rays Birthday there, so am looking forward to that.
Hope he likes the card anyway!

  1. I always find male cards hard to do too Aileen but I am sure your hubby will love this one. Good luck in the challenge.

  2. You've done a really good job, especially with a flu ridden mojo! I find male cards difficult too, you certainly have done better than I would have, I often resort to buying male cards!

  5. I like the colour palette you have used on this card ... I'm not keen on making male cards but you have 'cracked it' with this one . I hope the 'flu' has flown away xxx
